Shanon Hounshell is an Attorney, Collaborative Divorce Lawyer, Family Law Mediator, Child and Family Reporter, Guardian ad Litem, and Parenting Coordinator.

Shanon has been practicing law since graduating from Capital University Law School with honors in 2005.

Shanon is passionate about educating men and women about their divorce options in the hope that more will choose a peaceful, intentionally designed path. She co-founded Second Saturday Des Moines Divorce Advice Workshop in collaboration with financial and mental health professionals in 2020, and currently serves as the Board President.
