Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®

Elena Greenberg holds the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® or CDFA® designation. She has been trained in both the law and the financial analysis necessary to best help clients with property division and spotting hidden financial inequities.

We want to ensure our clients have clarity on the impacts of a settlement now and in the future.  Not all assets are created equal or have the same tax implications.  The CDFA® certification helps our clients get the best outcomes.

The Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® credential is issued by the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts®, an organization providing professionals with the knowledge and skills to handle the varied financial issues that occur during divorce.

 

Certified Family Law Mediators

Both Elena and Teresa are certified Family Law Mediators prepared to help clients find equitable settlement within the greater Des Moines metro area.

Mediation training helps the mediator navigate the difficult task of finding a resolution acceptable to all parties. This certification provides attorneys with conflict resolution skills and valuable insight on how Family Law matters are negotiated.

A minimum of 40 hours of mediation training is required to become certified.

Contact Elena M. Greenberg is an Attorney, Certified Life Coach, Mediator, and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®).

Elena has been guiding people through family law, criminal law, juvenile law, and appellate law systems since graduating from Drake University and receiving her J.D. with honors in May 2009.

Elena has practiced in private law firms, non profit organizations, and for the state as an Assistant Attorney General in the Child Support Recovery Unit.  Elena started Greenberg Law in Des Moines in 2011.
